We the People of Missouri: Learning to tell our Stories

To support a focus on Missouri's history and future; programs to strengthen cultural organizations; the READ from the START family reading program; and programs to explore diversity and to discover the meaning of "we" in We the People.

Focusing on the stories of events and people who shaped MO and now influence its future. Supporting upgrade of interpretation in museums, libraries and historical orgs as they “tell” the stories of MO through consultancy program, regrants, web, & more support to sites involved in Museum on Main Street. Also strengthening READ from the START in outreach to new Americans and exploration of diversity in urban and rural MO to discover connections and discern what it means to be a WE in We the People
