The Humanities Council's 2007 Book Festival, the Charleston Clemente Project, National History Day contest, and grants throughout the state on themes related to American history and culture.

With $81,140 in outright We the People funds and $15,000 in gift and match, the Humanities Council SC will: 1. Host its 11th Annual SCBook Festival in February 2007 2. Will specifically support two outstanding re-grant projects The Charleston Clemente Project with Trident Technical College and The National History Day contest with the SC Archives and History Foundation and 3. Maintain the WTP American history-themed re-grant RFP for a fall major grant review.
