production of four Chautauqua Policy Forums and a series of related Chautauqua Minutes in partnership with the Reno PBS affiliate, and grants for public programs in American history

Nevada Humanities proposes a two-part initiative. WTP funds will support production of four Chautauqua Policy Forums and a series of related Chautauqua Minutes, to be produced in partnership with the PBS affiliate in Reno, NV. These media programs will encourage audiences to think historically about contemporary concerns. WTP funds will also support an RFP for public programs in American history. Grants will expand the support available to local institutions for history programs of all kinds.
