To support expansion of the Council's new intergenerational family reading and discussion program focused on themes in American history and culture and to expand reading and dicussion programming for adults also focused on themes in American history and culture.

The New York Council for the Humanities requests “We The People” funds to continue to refine, evaluate and expand the reach of its new intergenerational family reading and discussion program focused on universal themes in American culture, and to launch a regionally expandable version of its Reading Between the Lines for Adults book discussion program focused on American history, culture and life.
