On-going programming including a summer teachers' institute that will explore southern plantation culture, statewide regional conferences that address themes in American history and culture, and the new publication, "Engage Your World."

The North Carolina Humanities Council (NCHC) respectfully requests "We the People" suppport for the following combination of existing programs: Let's Talk About It, Road Scholars Speakers Bureau, the Teachers' Institute Program, the Re-Grant Program, follow-up activities for the 2005 We the People conference, and selected publications.
