To support reading and discussion programs for adults, Cultural Vistas magazine, and grants to Louisiana's educational and cultural institutions, all related to the theme, "Roots to Roots: America & Louisiana's Shared History."

In this fourth We the People proposal, the LEH will continue its efforts to weave the shared histories of America and Louisiana through humanities programming--council re-grants, reading and discussion programs and in its publication, Louisiana Cultural Vistas--around the state.
