To support a series of initiatives related to Picturing America, including a seminar for teachers, a speakers bureau, partnerships with museums in Michigan, and a documentary video program for high schools.

The Michigan Humanities Council proposes a series of initiatives to support and expand the Picturing America program. All Michigan Picturing America schools will be eligible to participate in the following: 1) teachers seminar; 2) speakers bureau; 3) museum partnership; 4) Picturing Your Community in America documentary video program (high school only).
