To support ongoing work of scholars and editors for the Online Nevada Encyclopedia; grants for projects in American history and culture; and programming related to Picturing America.

Nevada Humanities (NH) proposes to divide its WTP funds between three projects: the Online Nevada Encyclopedia (ONE), a regrant program, and Picturing America. ONE places Nevada in the context of American history and is the only major reference work on Nevada’s history and culture. WTP funds will also be used to create a special regrant category in American history. Through an RFP and widespread publicity, NH will encourage public programs in American history.
