Development of a web-based Mississippi Timeline, Mississippi Moments radio braodcasts, public programming to accompany Picturing America displays in local libraries, a teacher's institute on Mississippi writers and an updated version of the publication, "Ethnic Heritage in Mississippi."

MHC seeks funding for projects that make Mississipians’ stories accessible -- famous writers, community oral histories, accounts of new population groups, and scholar narratives. These will be presented via vehicles such as “MS Moments” radio show, the MS Timeline, Speaker’s Bureau, as well as teacher institutes and our oral history projects. These grow our collaborative efforts with the inter-agency Culture Club. One new collaboration presents the Picturing America program statewide.
