Humanmities programming including a statewide conference, fellowships, speakers programs, and reading and discussion programs related to the 2009 Hudson-Fulton-Champlain Quadricentennial.

The New York Council for the Humanities requests “We The People” funds to support a range of programs related to the 2009 Hudson-Fulton-Champlain Quadricentennial, which celebrates the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson’s voyage of discovery and Samuel de Champlain’s explorations, as well as the 200th anniversary of Robert Fulton’s successful steamboat voyage on the Hudson.
