Funding will support the development of a guide to the history and culture of five distinct regions of Puerto Rico, to be available on both CD-ROM and as part of the Puerto Rico Online Encyclopedia.

The purpose of this project is to develop and publish a graphic guide in a CD-ROM format of the idiosyncrasy of the five different regions that have had an impact in shaping the culture of Puerto Ricans. Each region will be described as a trail, emphasizing what differentiates them in terms of their cultural, historical, ecological, geographical, architectural, and culinary traits. The result of this project will also be included in the Puerto Rico Online Encyclopedia.
