Ashbrook Center (Ashland, OH 44805)
John E. Moser (Project Director: June 2004 to August 2009)

A three-year program to develop 90 lesson plans for EDSITEment with accompanying student interactive activities.

The Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs proposes to produce a series of 90 academically rigorous, web-based high school U.S. History lesson plans, including resources and activities for students, to be made available on EDSITEment. Lessons willcover a wide variety of topics in American History, with emphasis on political history. Topics, carefully selected to supplement existing lessons on the site, will aim to revive an interest in the study of American History among young people. Lessons, including interactive student exercises, will utilize EDSITEment's Internet resources and the expertise of the Ashbrook Center's wide network of accomplished scholars to incorporate a variety of perspectives.
