Design, construction, and furnishing of a combined library and museum building.

Embracing our history and growing by volumes describes the community focus for creation of the Seward Community Library Museum. The City of Seward seeks to build a new library museum. The proposed 16,300 sq.ft. building will provide the community with a central place to study the past, guide the present and dream of the future. Bringing the two institutions together not only creates more space but offers efficiencies in staff, equipment and materials. This collaboration of space continues a long relationship between the Seward Community Library and Seward Museum. We wish to bring the two institutions under one roof so they can continue their missions to preserve our cultural heritage while providing free and equal access to all knowledge.
