Relocation and expansion of the Center for Oral and Public History to include climate-conrolled archival storage space; a student collaborative learning lab; and conference, processing, and reading rooms.
To relocate and expand the Center for Oral and Public History (COPH) to the sixth floor of Cal State Fullerton's Pollak Library. This state-of-the-art facility will double the size of the Center as well as provide a secure, climate-controlled space for its aging audio and video recordings, photograph and document collections. The new Center will also house a student project room which will allow for collaborative projects and learning between oral and public history students; a climate-controlled processing room for archival collections and materials; a conference room capable of hosting small talks; workshops, and oral and public history courses while doubling as a student exhibition space for master's students to curate and display their projects; new offices for permanent and project-based staff; and an expanded reading room for students, community members, and scholars.
