Improved collections storage conditions, renovation of the exhibition gallery, development of a dedicated Study Center, and creation of a California Indian basket weavers' garden for the Phoebe A. Hearst Museum.

To better accomplish its mission and to foster the use and understanding of its extensive humanities collections, the Museum is launching a major transformational project that includes improved collections storage conditions, the complete renovation of the exhibition gallery, the development of a dedicated Study Center, and the creation of a California Indian basket weavers’ garden.
