Endowment to support the museum's Chief Conservator position.

To establish an endowment for the position of Chief Conservator at the Dallas Museum of Art. This essential leadership position is responsible for treating and preserving works of art from the DMA's expansive global collections and interpreting the humanities-rich content of priceless objects for both public understanding and scholarly research. A challenge grant of $375,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities will significantly enhance the DMA's institutional capacity to interpret the humanities, as well as provide substantial leverage in raising additional funds needed to fully fund the position.
