The California State College at San Bernardino is using a consultant to evaluate altered General Education program in depth and to deal with such questions as whether the abolishing of the foreign language requirement was a sound action, whether the new requirement of upper division large lecture courses is academically justified, and whether the program can be effectively governed jointly by the Center for General Studies and a curriculum committee.
