To assist the facility of the Interdisciplinary Program in the Humanities in redesigning the program to include the study of history, in formulating clearly defined outcomes or objectives for the program as a whole and for the individual participating disciplines, in coordinating the program with other academic areas, and in developing an institutional approach which is student-centered rather than teacher oriented.
