Establishment of Seminars on Ancient and Modern Studies

To offer a three-week summer seminar for 20 college and university teachers on ancient and modern studies to provide impetus and training for introducing such studies into the participants' own institutions. The project is based on the assumption that the simultaneous study of problems vital to both cultures by people in various disciplines provides a vertical perspective and wider horizon for analyzing modern issues.
