To support a summer institute on the Theory of Knowledge, under the sponsorship of the Council for Philosophical Studies, to imporve teaching and scholarship in epistemology. Distinguished scholars will instruct about thirty selected college philosopohy teachers in the most recent research in the field through a program of daily lectures, seminars and informal discussions.
