To design produce, and field-test three multi-media instructional unit prototypes for use in a general humanities course at the community college level. To invest the humanities with meaning for large numbers of college students who are profoundly sceptical of the arts and ideas and of the worth of cultural history. Unitiws will consist of slides, recorded material, response forms, and instuctions.
