An interdisciplinary humanities program designed around the academic needs of two-year colleges: 1) transfer problems with 4-year colleges; 2) introducing greater depth and distinctiveness to lower division course sequences; 3) stimulating faculty by developing teaching approaches and strategies; 4) overcoming in student effects of underveloped learning interest.
