A one year study of the actual role of philosophy in the curricula of two-year colleges and of the possibilities for an enhancement of this role. Ten regional and state conferences of philosophers presently teaching in two-year colleges to discuss teaching problems; six meetings of a committere to draw up a position paper on the role of philosophy in two-year institutions, with appendices sketching particularly successful curricula.
