The poroposed three annual "Student Conferences on Film Study" are designed to provide an opportunity for a select number of outstanding undergraduate and graduate film students from throughout the country to engage in a high level of scholarly exchange concerning questions and themes in the areas of film theory, ciriticism, and history. Results will be assembled into a booklet and circulated to colleges and universities which offer programs in film study, and to professional socieites and conferences film teachers and scholars.
