Area Studies Component of the Summer Language and Area Institute in Andean Studies

In consonance with a program of language training in Quecha and Aymara Indian languages to be supported by O.E., NEH will support the Area Studies component of Andean Studies. The theme is Cultural Conflict and Integration with special reference to Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru. A group of undergraduate and graduate students will attend an eight-week Institute, with local and vising professors.
