Teaching Basic Skills with Humanities in a Freshman English Program

As a result of SUNY's open admission policy, many persons with underdeveloped verbal skills enter Kingborough. The purpose of this project is to incorporate materials from the humanities disciplines into the Freshman course. This will be accomplished by establishing workshop modules that will teach skills as a supplement to the classroom activities that will concentrate on humanities topics.
