A series of courses in critical theory for junior faculty and graduate students that will systematically explore methods and perspectives which are neglected in most doctoral programs in literature, thus broadening the humanistic relevance of literature as it is presented in the classroom. This will be a pilot six week summer program of six courses, and one course for the academic year.
