Visual Documentation of American Art: The Nation's Capital

To assemble a visual documentation of the major buildings and monuments making up the architectural development of the nation's capital over the last 200 years. The pictorial material will include all the sketches and plans leading up to the initial constructions of the building, views of the building and its surroundings in different moments in its history as seen in contemporary prints and photographs, and photographs of its current condition.
