To explore the potential of the community as a learning resource; to integrate media into history curricula; to link academic and community institutions; to expand interest in history, and, to achieve educational efficiencies through interdisciplinary and inter-institutional instructional modes. This will be done by using local history as an organizing construct and through developing interdisciplinary curricular experiments using primary research materials and media presentations.
