Art Museum and University: Toward a More Productive Alliance

To convene a four day conference of museum directors and art department deans of seventeen institutions which are comprised of both art departments and art museums. The institutions chosen represent a wide range of geographic locations and of constituencies served. Conferees will share expertise on how to bring about a productive alliance between a museum and its parent educational institution for the benefit of both. Findings will be published in a widely disseminated newsletter.
