Summer Institute in Ancient History

To create a summer institute gathering together established scholars in Ancient History with teachers in the smaller colleges, to bring the results of recent research to their attention. There will be an eight-week session with four seminars on subjects representing difference periods of classical antiquity, which will provide a variety of approaches and aspects and include a number of ancillary disciplines and techniques. Participants will be expected to frame new courses or refurbish old ones as a result of the institute.
