To improve the quality of college and university teaching by helping faculty members in world religions and related disciplines make effective use of self-study and visual materials; to further opportunities for self-educating adults to study man's religious experience in libraries and in other non-formal educational settings and; review critically existing self-study and visual materials and examine needs of different clienteles for such materials for future planning.
