Strengthening Judaic Studies and Their Links to the General Humanities

To strengthen Judaic Studies at Brandeis University, two assistant professors will be appointed to the Department of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies. They, and faculty made available through NEH-provided released time funds, will offer new and integrated courses illuminating both Judaic studies and ancient history. The library holdings in these fields will also be expanded.
