To offer an NEH Learning Library Program entitled Boston: An Urban Community. The program will focus on Boston and its environ as a political, cultural, economic, literary, and social center, with the purpose of showing in what ways Boston is unique and in what ways it is a typical urban center. The grant will begin with a three month planning period followed by five educational themes: Politics, Culture, Economy, Literature, and The City and Its Environs.
