To create a continuous, integrated program of formal course sequences that will engage the adult learners in a focused, guided study of the Museum's resources. Eleven different course sequences will each include the following three elements: 1) a formal course with lectures, discussions, and resource materials, 2) special events to complement and reinforce the learning in the formal course, and 3) an advanced seminar whose participants will work extensively with exhibits and collection.
