To further training of college and university teachers of Afro- American culture, the University will sponsor a 2-week summer institute on "Black Culture in the 2nd Renaissance," providing lectures and discussions on such topics as the Black Arts Movement, The Black Aesthetic, Desegregation in Education, Images of Black Women, among others.
