To bring together 18 faculty from various departments and interdepartmental programs to share their work and teaching as they relate to comparative regional culture studies. A smaller workshop will create new interdisciplinary courses that will integrate American Studies with ethnic studies. Project seeks to demonstrate to faculty the necessity for and excitement of a comparative approach to American cultural studies.
