To plan the development of several regional centers for the study of Black music, in co-operation with libraries and educational institutions in Neward, Atlanta, New Orleans, St. Louis, Dallas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The Afro-American Music Opportunities Association will co-ordinate its plans with those of the NEH funded Black Music Center at Indiana University.
