Program for Curricula Revision in the Humanities

The curriculum is characterized by innovative modular constructuion emphasizing the visual, the thematic, and the familiar and deemphasizing reading skills. A summer workshop will convert the curriculum outline into detailed lesson plans with accompanying visual materials and activities; the program will be tried on a pilot basis during the first semester; it will be revised and retried and extended during the second semester; and overall evaluation plan and specific measuring instruments will be developed and used; and a workshop is being planned to further disseminate the results ot the pilot and the total program.
