A three-year plan. To encourage creative thinking through interaction and consultation with nationally known figures in the various disciplines, and to aid in participants objectively assessing the program while it is in progress. Three conferences will deall with "Literature and the Other Arts" in (Phase I), "Asian-Western Literary and Cultural Relations" (in Phase II), and "International Film Studies" (in Phase III).
