The Revitalization of the Humanities at Coe College

To establish at Coe College a three-year program in the humanities. The program has the following objectives; 1) to revitalize humanistic studies at Coe; 2) to emphasize the importance and relevance of humanistic studies to life in the modern world; 3) to permit a wider spectrum of students to participate in an intensive study of the humanities; and 4) to establish meaningful interaction in the humanities between the classroom and the local community.
