To implement a three-quarter interdisciplinary course in the humanities for students in 2-year technical programs at the Institute. Currently, there are no humanities course offerings. Courses will seek to improve students' self-concept to increase their sensitivity to the interrelationship between disciplines, and to make them more aware of their ability to exercise control over their lives. Principal teaching team will be augmented by guest lectures films, papers, discussions, and assigned readings will supplement lectures. Students, teaching faculty, and consultants will be asked to evaluate course.
