FAIN: EP-*1143-78

Quinnipiac College (Hamden, CT 06518-1905)
Robert Sandels (Project Director: February 1978 to October 1990)

To develop, teach, administer, and evaluate the first year of a proposed four-year humanities requirement designed to insure that all students at Quinnipiac College are provided with a strong foundation in humanistic studies. If adopted, the proposed program will replace the humanities portion of the requirement system in the 2 career oriented schools, the School of Business and the School of Allied Health and Natural Sciences. For students in the School of Liberal Arts, it will supplement humanities electives. Two courses will be taught: "Life Processes" and "Modern Institutions and Ideas". Courses will be team taught in interdisciplinary presentations combining formal lecture with small discussion groups.
