Funds for a humanities core program. The goal is to establsih immediate relationships for the student between his learning experience and contemporary social problems, and to emphasize the formative effect of Western civilization on contemporary life. Interdisciplinary, and stressing alternate techniques of instruction. The pilot program will be a freshman "Civilization" program, in addition to courses planned for '74-'75 and '75-'76.
