To extend the established program in the humanitieis at Southern Methodist University by making it more student-centered, self-paced, and flexible to such a degree that it will permit students to begin and end courses at other than traditional enrollment times. To expand the options open to students so that they will have more opportunities to study the humanities throughout their college career.
