Methods of Inquiry

To refine plans for the establishment of small, topical, inquiry-centered freshmen seminars on a humanistic and philosophic base at Upsala College. Two basic approaches to learning will be tested during the planning period. One type of seminar would concentrate on the methods on inquiry characterstic of a single discipline. Another type of seminar would be based on the view that one universal impulse underlines all research, regardless of the disciplines.
