To establish a three year program in the humanities at Coe College with the following aims; the establish humanistic studies as a curriculum in which a large number of students may participate and specialize if they choose, to reemphasize the continuing importance of humanities in the development of students under present day circumstances, and to establish a broad-base for humanisitic interaction with the lcoal community.
