Development of an Alternative Humanities Curriculum for the Lower Division of Franconia College

To develop a humanities curriculum for the first two years or college by providing release time for faculty to plan and implement the pilot courses of the program. College cannot provide release time through its own resources. Completed project would present a general education curriculum for beginning college students whose focus would be an introduction to humanistic perspectives and intellectual skills' attainment. The proposed program would provide an alternative to a current curriculum that has a preponderance of electives.
