A New A.B. in Foreign Languages

To implement new language programs at Middlebury College by offering an entire spectrum of humanities courses in the foreign language of the student's choice. In January a seminar will write a final revised curricular document that reflects the need of the undergraduate student body, faculty, and administration. This curriculum will then be offered to sister institutions should they be interested in adopting it for their purposes. The curriculum will then be again evaluated by the three participating schools of Middlebury. Interested outside contacts will then be invited to contribute additional comments and suggestions. Final evaluation of the project will be provided by outside consultants.
