Various academic departments will develop an oral history project leading to 1) qualitative changes in the curricula of the departments that will involve oral history in these disciplines as well as in the inauguration of new classes in the college's outreach programs; and 2) an oral and visual collection of the unrecorded history of the "common citizen" of East San Francisco cities. The project hopes to enrich the offering of the school and strengthen the relationship in the area through the establishment of an oral repository.
